Despite its outdated appearance, it achieved remarkable success, including the famous attack on the Italian fleet at Taranto and the crippling of the German battleship Bismarck.

This Tamiya 1/48 scale kit represents the Swordfish Mk.II, a later-war variant equipped for anti-shipping and anti-submarine roles, often carrying rockets and operating from aircraft carriers and escort carriers.
