About the Kit
The kit allows construction of either USS Fletcher (DD-445) or USS Chevalier (DD-451) and includes signal flags, radar arrays, depth charges, torpedo tubes, and detailed armament. The finished model is almost 32 inches long and is considered one of the most impressive injection-molded destroyer kits ever released in 1/144 scale.
Many builders regard this as the definitive large-scale Fletcher available. Reviews consistently praise the fit of the hull and superstructure and the impressive finished appearance
