Full Product Description
Kitty Hawk 1/32 OV-10A/C Bronco
The North American Rockwell OV-10 Bronco was developed as a rugged battlefield reconnaissance, forward air control (FAC), and counter-insurgency aircraft. Its unique twin-boom configuration, excellent visibility, short takeoff and landing performance, and ability to carry a wide variety of weapons made it invaluable during the Vietnam War.
The Bronco served with the U.S. Air Force, Marine Corps, Navy, and numerous international operators. It excelled at locating enemy forces, directing air strikes, escorting helicopters, and providing close air support.
Kitty Hawk's 1/32 Bronco is the first mainstream injection-molded kit of this aircraft in large scale. The model includes highly detailed front and rear cockpits, a detailed rear cargo compartment, twin Garrett turboprop engines, gun bays, optional open access panels, photo-etched details, and a generous selection of weapons and external stores.

Historical Background
The OV-10 entered combat during the Vietnam War and quickly became one of the most respected FAC aircraft in Southeast Asia. Flying low and slow over hostile territory, Bronco crews identified enemy positions, coordinated air strikes, and provided direct battlefield support.
Its ability to operate from rough forward airstrips and remain over the battlefield for extended periods made it ideal for counter-insurgency operations. The Bronco continued serving long after Vietnam and remains in limited service with several countries today.
