Hasegawa PT25 1/48 F-8E Crusader
“The Last of the Gunfighters”
The Vought F-8 Crusader became one of the most iconic carrier-based fighters of the Cold War and Vietnam era. Nicknamed “The Last of the Gunfighters,” the F-8 combined supersonic performance with four 20mm cannon and excellent dogfighting capability. The F-8E represented one of the definitive operational variants used extensively by both the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps during Vietnam.
Hasegawa’s PT25 kit was released as a modern tooling in 2003 and immediately became regarded as one of the best Crusader kits produced in 1/48 scale.
The kit includes:
Fine recessed panel lines
Detailed cockpit
Positionable variable-incidence wing
Detailed landing gear
Optional folded flaps/slats
Separate speed brake
Optional ordnance and tanks
